Emphasizing quality teaching, individualized attention, classroom technology and involvement in extracurricular activities, Yuma County's
K-12 schools are committed to preparing graduates for lifelong learning, community involvement and workforce entry. Yuma County is also uniquely located in a region served extensively by two colleges: Morgan Community college and Northeastern Junior college. Both offer adult basic and continuing education in Yuma County. In addition to quality schools, the County has 22 licensed home day care facilities and one State licensed childcare center, assisting area workers in balancing family commitments with work commitments.
