Labor and Employment
As one of the Colorado's largest geographic County's, Yuma County has a strong pool of workers to draw from within its own boundaries as well as from surrounding communities. Our workers have a diverse range of skills, ranging from agriculture, manufacturing and retail, to healthcare, sales, education and computers. Results from a recent Northeastern Colorado Labor Force Study indicates that Yuma County has a ready willing workforce that is primed for growth to support a number of industries across a wide-variety of positions.

Continually dedicated to improving the quality of our workforce, Yuma County offer employers and current residents a wide range of workforce training services.
- The Colorado Workforce Center offers both employers and current residents a range of employment and training services designed to increase occupational skill sets and opportunities for local residents, while offering employers customized job training programs to meet their specific needs. - Community College Training Network customized training programs for business and industry are also available through Morgan Community College, Northeastern Junior College and Colorado State University Extension.
